Flew in to Long Beach Airport. Made the drive (about 2 hours) south to San Diego (traffic was bad at times :). Spent the early afternoon by the pool. Headed to Old Town for ice cream and some walking around checking out all the cool places.
Day 2:
Seaworld. The girls loved it. Brightyn was way into the Shamu show and the characters from Sesame Street. Kinlee loved all the rides.
Day 3:Mission Beach. It was a little chilly so we let Kinlee gather up some seashells and then left and hit the Zoo. After that, we went back to the beach for some rides and icecream!
If you look closely in the waves, there are 3 dolphin fins in the water. They were all over that morning!

Day 4:
Newport Beach. Made a 1 1/2 hour trip back to Orange County to go to my favorite beach. Newport Beach. It is so beautiful there and the Pier is gorgeous. The water was freezing, but we got our feet wet and played in the sand. For dinner we headed to Old Town Mexican Cafe our favorite!
Day 5:
San Diego Wild Animal Park. Located in Escondido. The ride there was aboslutely gorgeous. There were beautiful wine vineyards, green everywhere you looked. I felt like this was a lot more interactive than the zoo. The girls played at a splash park and we got to see some of the animals super close. That night we drove to downtown/Gaslamp quarter. Had some yummy pizza for dinner, went to see Petco Park (where the Padres play) and walk around. I love the nightlife there. It is busy ALL the time. So different than in Salt Lake. Lots of interesting people, and sadly, a lot of homeless people.

Look at you amazing lady! Just got back and already got all of it blogged on your blog! Love all of the pictures, there are a ton of cute ones with the girls and you look so cute in all of them. Love the new suit:) I love being able to see all of the fun that you had and all that you did, looks like a blast! Thanks for tonight, you guys are so sweet and I was sad to have to leave early, I enjoy just chatting with everyone! Lots of playing this summer!!!
