What we have been up to the past 2 months...

Wow. I am so behind on blogging. It has been almost 2 months. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to.

Our new dog, Mayzie. We bought her the day after Christmas. She is a Morkie. A mix between a maltese and a yorkie. She is 2 years old and housetrained. She is a good dog, but still getting used to our family. She is terrified of Brightyn. I hope that changes with time.

Murder Mystery

A group of our friends put together a murder mystery dinner last weekend. Each of us was assigned a character to dress up as. I was cha cha (a ballroom dance instructor), and Derk was Bill, a football coach. I did not really quite get the game, BUT the food was good and we had fun hanging with our good friends. Will we do it again, sure :)

and ended with a witches brew and trick or treating with cousins!

Playgroup Halloween Party

Our old neighborhood has a playgroup every Monday. Most of the time we are to slow or lazy in the mornings to make it. I am thanksful that I have stayed in touch with all these girls and consider them my best of friends. This year, the Halloween party was at my house. As you can see, there were a ton of kids. Way to ring in the holiday!

Every year we go to my sister in laws grandmas house and carve away, and enjoy wonderful company, food and fun.
