Nothing inparticular...

I just realized it has been almost a month since my last post. We have been SO busy lately it seems like EVERY day of the week we have either work or something else planned. Here is a little of what we have been up to.
Met some friends at Murray Park for a picnic and duck feeding adventure.
Derk and Jared have been friends for YEARS. It is always nice to get together with old friends.

Sonrisa, Ivy and Kinlee.

Feeding the ducks.

Here are the girls at the T-Ville Days parade. I love summertime. My favorite Holiday has always been the 4th of July. Kinlee had a blast filling her backpack up with candy and hanging out with her cousins.

Making good use of our zoo pass.
Walking around Silver Lake. I like to get away from the heat and head to the canyon. It is so beautiful and the squirrels eat right out of your hand!

Can you see the Mickey Mouse on the mountain? :)

One of our neighbors had a gasleak at their house and they sent out 3 firetrucks to the area because there was risk of possible explosion... Luckily Questar got it under control. We were told if there would have been a spark within 50 yards, the house could have blown up! Scary. In the meantime, the nice firefighters entertained about half the kids in the neighborhood. Here are a few.

Derk was jealous he was not there to try on the uniform :)

I love how every parent thinks that "their" kid is the cutest of all. That is the great thing about being a parent. You are just so proud and so thankful and you just see pure beauty in everything about your children. So, now I must admit... Yes, I do think my girls are the cutest. I love their blue eyes, and their little widows peaks. Kinlee is starting to get freckles. I remember when I was in Jr. High, I hated my freckles. Now I love them. I make sure to tell Kinlee everyday how beautiful they are because I do not want her to ever feel NOT pretty. I just love my girlies.

My 10 year Highschool reunion was last night at The Gathering Place in Gardner Village. I went even though a few of my closest friends decided not to go. I think it would have been fun to spend time with them even if they did not really care to see anyone else... Anyways, it was good to see some old faces. Thank goodness for nametags. I always remember faces, but not so good at remembering names. Thanks Derk for always being my one true friend. I had a good time catching up with people and spending time with you! I must say, the last 10 years have been good to me.
